Daniel Cheung
Principal Dentist
Dr Daniel Cheung BDS (Liverpool, UK), PG Cert Endodontics (with Distinction), PG Dip Endodontology, GDC registration number 79342 Daniel started his dental career soon after graduating from The School of Dentistry at The University of Liverpool in 2001, where he carried out sedation treatments at the oral surgery department helping patients with special needs and dental anxiety. He has since worked in quality dental practices in Liverpool, then in Chester, before setting up in Preston and Bury. He has completed postgraduate qualifications from The University of Chester and continues to learn and develop his dental skills from renowned clinicians worldwide, including Peter Dawson, Frank Spear, Stephan Phelan, and much much more. Continually learning and developing in dental knowledge and clinical skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, as well as in orthodontics and Facial Aesthetics. Daniel also aids in the teaching of the Botox Training Club at venues in the north west and is the founder of URAESTHETICS. He has also obtained the qualification of Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics (with Distinction) in 2009-2010, and in 2010-2011, he successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontology. Daniel has also completed the advanced certificate in Facilitating Learning in Healthcare Practice from UCLAN university to aid in the teaching of other healthcare professionals. Daniel enjoys spending his time developing his dental knowledge and skills, and also finds time to enjoy training in callisthenics as well as gym training and enjoys cooking and relaxing with his daily meditations.
Annmarie Seaton
Practice Manager
Annmarie started working at Bury Dental Centre in 2011 a month after setting up. She was recruited then as a dental receptionist and she has grown extremely well from humble beginnings. She is now our practice manager and is involved in many aspects of the smooth running of the practice. She likes to ensure the team is working well together and finds time to juggle her family life while also doing her lever 5ILM in leadership and management. Annmarie regularly attends courses such as CQC courses and management courses to keep up to date. She is a fantastic practice manager and in 2017 is a finalist for the best practice manager at the dentistry show awards. Annmarie is a dual-practice manager. This means she spends her time helping Daniel run 2 dental practices. She has developed the critical skills as a team leader and manager and continually undergoes management and leadership and communication training in the field of dental practice management. Annmarie has helped grow the practice to the friendly, patient caring and team-orientated practice it is today and continues to support and help develop ideas to continually improve on the patient experience at the practice. Annmarie enjoys spending time with her family, often bringing her daughter, Lily to the practice for a nice day out. She also enjoys travelling to the lakes and days out to relax and unwind.
Antonia Perry
Dental Therapist/Hygienist
Antonia is our dental hygienist and dental therapist. She is at the practice every other Saturday to help with the periodontal care of the patients who need it. Daniel chose Antonia as his dental therapist because she is gentle and caring, as well as conscientious and knowledgeable. She looks after patients with her gentle and caring approach and still manages to give the right home-care advice to keep you motivated to look after your teeth and gums. As a direct access dental therapist, Antonia can see and treat you for your dental care directly, and without the need for you to see the dentist first. Antonia enjoys spending time relaxing with her dog, as well as going to various festivals across the country.
Tahera Bkth
Dental Therapist/Hygienist
Tahera has joined the practice in 2017 as our dental therapist. She has already helped support Daniel and his patients with their dental oral health and well-being and also has furthered her training in Facial Aesthetics. Tahera uses her thorough and caring approach to help guide our patients with the right dental care they need. As a direct access dental therapist, Tahera can see and treat you for your dental care directly, and without the need for you to see the dentist first. Tahera enjoys travelling and working out, as well as going out with her friends and family.
Shannon Ginty
Dental Nurse
Shannon has been at the practice since 2016 and has already made a huge positive impact on the practice and the patients. She began at the practice as a trainee at Bury College and has grown and grown to become excellent as Daniel’s chairside support and assistance, as well as caring for patients with a smile. With her success in achieving her diploma in dental nursing, Shannon knows what it takes to provide professional care. Sometimes you will find Shannon on the front desk helping with enquiries, and supporting all aspects of the practice. Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going out, enjoying a great glass of gin, and listening to great music.
Kendra Ogden
Dental Nurse
Kendra has been with us since 2016 and with her energetic and friendly fun approach, and her excellent understanding of the treatments we offer and how they can help our patients she's simply awesome. She can be found assisting at the chair-side as well as on reception. She is also at Bury College doing her dental nursing apprenticeship. Kendra enjoys being creative and likes to spend time with her family and friends and cooking.
Jane Lee
Dental Nurse
Jane works with us part-time at the practice, and is always friendly and cheerful to help with your dental care. Her caring chairside approach is a reassurance to all our patients. She has completed her dental nurse training at Bury College and at the practice. Jane can help you feel comfortable and reassured during your visits as she assists in the clinic area as well as on reception. Jane enjoys spending time with her children, and is also a keen player in the world of pc gaming.
Eden Milner
Saturday Receptionist
Eden is our friendly receptionist on most of our Saturdays. She is keen to apply for dental school in the hope of becoming a dentist. She has joined the team since doing work-experience with us, and enjoys learning all aspects of being part of a busy dental practice. With her enthusiasm to learn and her amazingly helpful nature, our Saturday clinics are a joy. Eden is busy studying at college for her exams, and she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Amina Farooq
Dental Student
Amina is our dental student from Manchester University Dental School, and assists Daniel on occasional weekends. She is in her fourth year of dental school, after starting off as work-experience and reception here at Bury Dental Centre. Her caring and gentle and conscientious nature are what will make her a great dentist. Amina enjoys reading and going out with her friends and family when she's not busy studying for her dental exams.
Megan is our latest dental nurse trainee at Bury Dental Centre. She is doing her training at Bury College and is learning all the skills needed for dental nursing and assisting as well as on reception. Megan enjoys going out with her friends and family.
