As the Coronavirus #covid19 situation continues to escalate, we want to continue helping and educating our patients.
If any one of our dentists, or any team member, becomes ill, they will be required to contact NHS 111 and stay at home until advised well enough to return to work again, which can be at least 2 weeks.
For our patients, this could mean a potential closure, whether it be from no sufficient team members or if mandated by the government. We have continuity plans in place to minimise the chance of closure, and we have already connected with other dental teams and locum dental teams to help minimise this. However this can still be a logistical challenge.
We therefore are now not accepting any new bookings at the moment to help manage risk levels. This is a continually changing situation, and when we can take on new consultations again, we will open our books.
Until then, we advise to keep as healthy as you can and to protect yourself and others, and to stay updated via the department of health.
We would also recommend anyone who has an appointment with us already, and if you are able to delay your visit, we would facilitate this.
We do want to reassure our patients that we take infection control and the coronavirus situation seriously, and hence we have adopted this proactive approach. .
This is a challenging situation, however we hope our patients understand that to reduce and manage the level of risk, these steps are necessary.
If you need our help and support please do not hesitate to contact us.
